On June 21, 2015 BCHCAZ presented former president Denny Murray with a sign that looks like the one that will be posted on new trail #626 named after him in recognition of his many years of service and work making this trail possible.
Denny has been invaluable in his contributions to BCHCAZ. He has never hesitated to volunteer his time and expertise whether driving a tractor at the Groom Creek Horse Camp clean-up or building the pavilion at the camp site. The Almosta Trail system was a challenge for him however and he worked tirelessly with the Forest Service for several years to plot the trails within the corridors allowed in the NEPA document. Everyone involved appreciates his help and input. The Almosta Trail system is turning out great because of Denny.
